Regret - that negative feeling you have after a bad experience is a fairly common human emotion (arrepentimiento - aquel sentimiento negativo que tienes después de una mala experiencia es una emoción humana muy común). However, the nature and impact of regrets can vary across ages, sex and cultures (no obstante, la naturaleza y el impacto de los arrepentimientos puede variar entre edades, sexo y culturas). From the research it would seem that the most striking difference in how regret affects people is between younger and older people (Según la investigación, parece que la diferencia más fuerte en como arrepentimiento afecta esta entre las personas más jóvenes y más viejas). Younger people tend to regret the things they actually did whereas older people regret the things they didn't do (personas más jóvenes tienden a arrepentirse de cosas que ellos realmente hicieron mientras personas los más viejos se arrepienten de cosas que no hicieron).
